Rot and water intrusion

These can quickly compromise your home’s structural integrity while remaining hidden beneath the existing siding. We can diagnose and replace the problem materials, and make sure they stay dry and intact for years to come.

Fresh siding and paint

The perfect finish to this job, which had a mess of mold, water, and ant damage around the whole house. After removing the rotten wood and outdated stucco panels, we used James-Hardie lap siding the give this home a makeover.

Change is good

Beneath old, damaged aluminum siding were layers of wood siding and rot just waiting to be demolished. Once the offending material was recycled, it was time to freshen up the place.

Board & Batten

This is a different style that is particularly water-resistant. It also allows additional customization in the appearance with regards to the spacing of the battens. On this house, coupled with the beautiful bright red paint, it creates a timeless, unique look that is sure to be enjoyed.

The long chamfered corner on this cedar deck, a product of tight property setbacks, provides an interesting and unique angle that maximizes surface area while showcasing the forested area behind the house.

Outdoor Living

With the installation of a mini fridge, grill, and gas fireplace, this patio was transformed into a beautiful, functional space for entertaining guests or enjoying a night in. The stacked stone was also applied to two retaining walls we built at the front and back of the property, tying the project together with a uniform look.

Motorized screens and soffit heaters were the finishing touches that allow this space to be open and breezy, or warm and cozy, even in the thick of our Northwest winters.

All this required a lot of excavation to dig trenches for a landscaped water feature, and then even more dirt and rock to be delivered to backfill behind the rear retaining wall.

Fences

This fence is shared by five neighbors, and they all pitched in to replace the old, greying wood that had succumbed to decay. The new cedar gives a warm, inviting look to each space that will be enjoyed by each family for years to come.

Is it Time

for a New

Roof?

A quality roof is your home’s first line of defense against nature. If one or more of these red flags apply to your roof, it’s a good idea to replace it. Damaged roofing can result in cold air, rain, and wind penetrating into the house, leading to more problems as time goes on.

Which Option is Best for You?

Overlay

New shingles are installed directly on top of existing shingles. Some sections of old roofing may be removed for vents or other components. Overlay is only possible when there is just one existing layer of roofing, and that layer is not excessively damaged. This method is quick and cost-effective, but is dependent upon the condition of the existing layers.

Full Replacement

For a fully brand new roof, the existing shingles, underlayment, and flashings are removed and disposed of. Any rotten or damaged sheeting exposed in the process is also repaired or replaced as necessary. This application ensures you are getting the best quality roof on your home that will protect against a lifetime of Northwest weather.

Under a layer of white three-tab roofing—old and covered in moss—were hidden two additional layers. Overlays should only be installed over a single existing layer. This roof took additional labor to remove the extra layer, but the results were well worth it! Black architectural composition roofing creates a modern, clean look.
